MARKETING STRATEGY // EVENT ACTIVATION
Late last year, the Auto West Group opened a showroom in the Aberdeen Centre, the premier Asian mall in Richmond, British Columbia. The showroom allows Auto West to display vehicles from their BMW, MINI and Infiniti dealerships. Blitzgear realized that this venue allows Auto West the unique opportunity to engage with consumers before they even potentially consider purchasing a new vehicle. Upon our recommendation, a campaign was set to capture valuable data on this potential customer base. During weekends and holidays, when the mall was at its busiest, people found members of our street team providing general customer service and support while encouraging visitors to enter contests through our iPad displays to capture their data.
DISPLAYS & SIGNAGE
A mall location poses several challenges such as attracting shoppers to stop, take notice of the store, and encouraging them to come inside. Our window signage was created with that purpose in mind. The Auto West Group logo is presented loud and proud but without covering the vehicles showcased inside. Our window displays also change to correspond to upcoming holidays and special events.
MICROSITE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
We created three microsite templates that allow us to capture visitor data, but also promote each of the three Auto West Group dealerships. The microsites feature different contests for visitors to enter to win.
To increase visitor experience in the showroom, we wanted our street team members to be easily identifiable as part of the Auto West Group staff, hence we created and provided them with custom branded apparel.
