Travel Underwriters, Canada’s leading travel insurance broker, sought Blitzgear’s Social Media expertise to design a campaign to promote both growth and engagement in their relatively new social media channels.
With that, our Social Media Experts created a campaign called “#LoveCanada”, which encouraged Canadian residents to submit photos of “Why they Love Canada” via Facebook and/or Instagram. To create a viral effect, entrants were asked to invite their friends to vote for them; the most votes acquired winning the contest. This campaign used a series of strategic content posts in conjunction with Facebook advertising. The result: hundreds of entries, Social Media growth of 1000%, heavy brand engagement and awareness.
